The Festi-Mer is coming to Rivière-au-Renard
Come celebrate the sea, its riches and the know-how of our community at Festi-Mer, a brand new festival that promises a weekend full of discoveries, flavours and fun for the whole family.
Programming
Friday, July 31
Introduction to sea fishing and Forillon Cruise tournament — afternoon
Traditional supper of the famous Rivière-au-Renard fish soup — from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (limited seating)
Saturday, August 1st
Festi-Mer Fishing Tournament — from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. (registration required)
Introduction to sea fishing and Forillon Cruise tournament — morning
Public market showcasing local and regional products — 9 a.m.
Information booth of the ZIP Committee and Cap au Large — 9 a.m.
Children's activities — 9 a.m.
Free tastings of fish dishes prepared by chefs — 12 p.m.
Fish filleting and stock preparation workshops — 2 p.m.
Awards ceremony — 4:30 p.m.
Festive evening with music and atmosphere:
5 p.m. — Frontibus Microbrasserie, with the Frontibus Band
8 p.m. — Apollo Bar, with the Road Runners
